Day 1 São Luis - Barreirinhas (272 km)
Pick-up around 05:00 at your hotel in São Luis for the ground transfer or air transfer to Barreirinhas. The ground transfer will be done in a comfortable air conditioned van and the air transfer in a small air plane, with underway a fantastic view on Lençóis Maranhenses and the possibility to take some beautifull pictures.
Arrival in Barreirinhas and check-in at your pousada/hotel of choice. In the afternoon you will be picked up from the hotel for a 4x4 safari through the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, with underway some breath-taking views. Also there will the possibility to take a refreshing dive in the chrystal clear waters of one the many natural swimming pools. In the afternoon return to your pousada/hotel and rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight in your pousada/hotel.

Day 2 Barreirinhas
After breakfast a comfortable motor boat ride on the Preguiças River. Underway you will visit a part of the Environmental Protection Area (APA), Vassouras, Mandacaru with its lighthouse from where you have a wonderfull view on the surrounding region. This excursion will end at the untouched beach of Caburé. In the afternoon back to your pousada/hotel in Barreirinhas. Evening at leisure. Overnight in your pousada/hotel. (B)

Day 3 Barreirinhas - São Luis
Breakfast. Ground transfer around 17:00 hrs in the afternoon back to your hotel in São Luis. Or air transfer in the morning back to São Luis, followed by a transfer to your hotel or airport in São Luis. (B)
