Day 1: Cuiaba - Araras Eco Lodge (135 km/2,5 hrs)
At the Cuiabá airport you will be greeted by a bilingual guide and transfer who will take you to the Pantanal. You can observe the flora and fauna while crossing the area. You will hike in the late afternoon through the local area to later arrive at the 12m observation tower where you will enjoy the sunset. A night walk after dinner to see the Southern Hemisphere sky and experience the nocturnal habitat of the Pantanal. (D)

Day 2: Araras Eco Lodge
After breakfast, journey through private dirt roads to Sentinela Camp, located on the edge of Rio Clarinho. Go on a canoe tour to spot the aquatic life, birds species, flora and have the chance of fishing piranhas. Lunch a traditional Brazilian churrasco along the banks of the river. Return to the lodge and enjoy the sunset from the 25m high viewpoint. Dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Araras Eco Lodge - Hotel Pantanal Norte (110 km/2,5 hrs)
Start your day with an early morning hike to catch the sunrise. Eat breakfast besides the pool; morning at leisure. After lunch, a drive deeper into the Pantanal awaits with stops to observe the wildlife and then get to Hotel Pantanal Norte (former Hotel Porto Jofre) by the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight. Day 4, 5 & 6: Hotel Pantanal Norte
Enjoy full day boat rides in the Piquiri, Cuiabá and Tres Irmãos river. Boat trips are the perfect occasion to spot giant river otters up-close. During the dry season we occasionally see jaguars in the rivers, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Capybaras and caimans are regularly seen seen on the rivers. Commonly encountered birds include egrets, storks, terns, kingfishers and herons. By the end of the afternoon, return to the lodge. Overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Hotel Pantanal Norte - Cuiaba Airport
After your breakfast you will be driven to Cuiabá Airport in time for your flight. (B)
